Job Description

The Senior Systems Software Engineer builds high end transaction systems, converting and re-architecting our current systems to support new markets that scale vertically and horizontally while bringing in new gaming technologies. The position will bring fresh and innovative ideas into the design to facilitate unique situations and support any gaming requirements. In this position, the engineer is expected to work on a team using Agile software development life cycle and DevOps methodology collaborating closely with other groups including the Operations and Platform Gaming team to design, write, debug, test and integrate software components and games using company’s coding standards while applying industry design principles and patterns.



  • Research new technologies and incorporate into our products 
  • Design features and modules using company's coding standards while applying industry design principles and patterns 
  • Rapidly Prototyping proofs of concept for quick decision making 
  • Utilizes technical Knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects 
  • Troubleshoots issues that occur with integration of complex software 
  • Debug various modules to find the root cause of an issue/s using various tools not limited to code analysis, performance profiling and propose a viable solution in acceptable timeline 
  • Test the software modules using either automated or manual tests 
  • Integrate software while working with other stake holders 
  • Provide Customer/Field support as needed 
  • Maintain existing software by adding new features or redesigning them using new technologies and market trends 
  • Create and maintain documentation for the Products 
  • Work with various stake holders and help create/improve processes and tailor best practices 


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of work experience in a high speed transactional and horizontal systems development
  • Proficient with C#/.NET 4.0+, XML
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft C++
  • Deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack and Network Socket/performance optimization
  • Deep understanding/Experience with MSSQL
  • Understanding of Windows Server API and Active Directory
  • Gaming or any high traffic transactional industry experience preferred
  • Fluency in coding and systems design and a desire to tackle the complex problems 
  • Reporting to the Manager, Game Systems,
