Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, the Project Administrator is responsible for assisting with project administration for AGS’ Class II and Class III gaming operations for customers located internationally. This position is responsible to help create and manage projects for the Installation and Administration department. This position requires, but is not limited to, creation of project plans, working with peers and Field Support staff on project expectations, becoming the expert in AGS platforms and hardware compatibility and mentor junior project administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Support installation team and align Engineering deployment goals with Field Support projects
  • Provide the primary point of contact for the Installation Group with regards to queries, questions and issues related to projects.
  • Support the teams in solving issues and mitigating risks with effective strategies and collaboration
  • Produce project plans and supporting documentation
  • Understand the inter-dependability of the platforms, features and the impact of changes
  • Active participation in problem analysis and resolution
  • Keep the knowledge base and documentation updated for the team so they can properly support the customer base
  • Organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities within the group to ensure SLAs are met
  • Review goals/monitor trends – Prepare status reports for management review
  • Learn highly technical software and hardware requirements

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in technical, computer-related discipline or relevant on the job experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project administration or management experience
  • Experience with a ticketing tool to manage projects in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Works effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to Influence others and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Available for on-call on a rotating basis/multi-shift
  • Some travel required (5%)
