Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities and trade-offs of working in a multidiscipline creative environment.  If you love making games, and making them with other amazing people then we want to meet you. 

The Lead QA Engineer is responsible for leading the software quality assurance team, working closely with game developers.

What you will be doing.

  • Managing and providing leadership for a team of QA Engineers for the development of gaming products.
  • Identifying game software issues early to reduce the number of bugs being generated by the external QA team.
  • Executing tests according to a test plan and performing regression of known issues to verify resolution.
  • Providing feedback to the game development team on how to reduce reoccurring issues.
  • Narrowing down the probable cause or steps of hard to reproduce issues.
  • Researching hard to fix issues identified by the external QA team to help expedite resolution.
  • Loading new versions of games as needed onto the target proprietary hardware.

 

Job Requirements

Your strengths.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ experience in QA or testing with a casino game manufacturer.
  • Ability to maintain high quality and thorough testing standards; able to work with various testing and reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze a problem and narrow down the cause.
  • A passion to help your team members and to work with them for the greater good.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive to get stuff done.
  • Understand that change, iteration and failure are required to create and design great things.

 

Also would be great if you could…

  • Have experience using a bug or issue reporting tool.
  • Have experience with version control software.
  • Have experience generating bug reports and test plans.
  • Have previous gaming industry experience.
