Job Description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler II is required to assemble all types of cabinets without assistance. The Assembler II will also be able to load software and functionally test at least one cabinet type, and be able to perform component testing on units coming back from casinos.  This position will also be able to schedule work in their work cell based on the production schedule and train new employees on tear-down and assembly.

Essential Functions

  • Perform basic troubleshooting without support
  • Demonstrated ability to assemble all standard AGS cabinet types
  • Ability to load game software and functionally test units in at least one cabinet type
  • Ability to test incoming games to determine functionality of primary components
  • Capability to load correct firmware in all peripherals based on quality documents
  • Monitor schedule and prioritize production in a work cell based on schedule
  • Training of assembly for each cabinet type
  • Assemble parts according to instructions, from blueprints, schematics, sample, and visual aids.
  • Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners using hand and/or power tools.
  • Dissemble machine, partially or completely.
  • Assist in loading or unloading of machines to and from transportation carriers
  • Communicate with management on problems or concerns, improvements, on specific issues found.
  • Maintain high quality and expected output
  • Work well independently and without constant supervision.
  • Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Evaluate all information pertaining to issues at hand and makes sound decision based on that information
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • 2+ years electronic assembly preferred
  • Strong mechanical/electronic assembly aptitude
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Experience with soldering, a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Lean 101

Physical/ Additional Requirements

  • Full time/40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work some overtime, including evenings, weekends and Holidays
  • Assigned duties are accomplished in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/work station and respond to written and oral cues. Must be able to stand for an entire work shift of eight or more hours per day. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office/production equipment. May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 55 lbs. Must be able to understand complex instructions in English and follow electronic schematic diagrams
