Job Description

The Assembler I prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials. The Assembler I may also be required to move games and other equipment through the flow of production daily as well as perform basic troubleshooting with support.

• Assemble electro-mechanical components to a Bill of Material (BOM) following standard work instruction written & verbal, assembly drawings, work samples, and visual aids. 
• Use common hand-tools to assemble components; e.g., screw drivers, wire cutters, ratchets & wrenches, pliers, and drills. 
• Disassemble games and components, partially or completely as directed.
• Assist in prepping, loading, and unloading machines to and from transportation carriers.
• Communicate ideas, questions, and concerns related to quality, production line, culture, continuous improvement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Perform 6S routinely.
• Work well and stay on task independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and dependability.  
• Observe all safety rules and regulations. 


Job Requirements

• High School Diploma of GED.
• Strong mechanical/electrical assembly aptitude.
• Experience using various hand tools preferred
• Ability to read and interpret standard work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Willingness to work overtime as needed. 
• Positive attitude, team spirit. 
• Ability to work in a varied climate (hot/cold) environment.
• Ability to solve problems and attention to detail.
  • Previous assembly line experience preferred.
• Previous computer assembly experience preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience preferred.
• 5S/6S experience preferred.
Physical/Additional Requirements
Position requires ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, grasp, crawl, lift up to 55 pounds unassisted, manual dexterity, and understand work instructions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
