Job Description

Entry level position in Field Service. This position is responsible for the servicing, installing, converting, upgrading and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. The Field Service Technician I position does not work standard set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24 hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Field Service Manager.


  • Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance
  • Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Completes assigned projects in regards to customer service
  • Must complete technical procedures such as all Work Orders on both slots and table games
  • Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary
  • Keeps parts inventory current

Job Requirements


  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
  • Must have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking
  • Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
  • Mechanically inclined; able to use hand tools
  • Must be able to move 75 lbs. assisted
  • Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Will need to complete mandatory electronics course as provided by the Company.
  • Will need to understand basic AC/DC electronics
  • Needs basic understanding of computer networking
  • Full time / 40 + Hours per week. Must be flexible to work some overtime, including evenings, weekends and Holidays.
